Shipping + Returns

Every piece is cut and stitched by hand in small batches, in our studio in Lobethal, in the Adelaide Hills.

Working in batches is how we can offer the whole range in every colour and every size. It also means your order takes a little time.

Dispatch

We aim to have your order out the door within 7 to 10 days. Sometimes it takes longer. If it does, we will tell you.

Because we work in batches, an order sometimes lands just after a batch has been cut. When that happens it waits for the next one, and 7 to 10 days becomes longer. If your order passes that window, you will hear from us. An explanation, not silence.

You will get an email from us the moment your order is lodged with Australia Post.

If you need it by a particular date, get in touch before you order. I will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.

About Express Post

We ship Express Post. That is how fast it travels once it leaves the studio. It is not how fast it leaves. The making comes first.

About the leather

We use full-grain Australian leather. It is a natural material, and it is not corrected, sanded or coated, so no two hides are the same.

Colour varies from hide to hide, and between batches of the same colour. You will also see marks, growth lines, scarring and changes in texture across the surface.

None of this is a fault. It is what a real hide looks like. Leather with a perfectly even surface has been sanded back and sprayed to get that way, and it is a weaker material for it.

Your piece will not look exactly like the photograph. It will look like itself.

If something is wrong

If your piece arrives with a fault, get in touch and I will make it right.

Because everything is handmade and most pieces carry someone's initials, we do not accept returns for change of mind. Natural variation in the leather, as described above, is not a fault.
