Help Me Choose

Five notebooks share one refillable system: full-grain Australian leather outside, elastic spines inside, and 60 page inserts you replace as you fill them. The leather is the part that lasts a lifetime. The differences, stated plainly:

  • The Settler: the simplest. One wrap of leather, four elastics, a centre closure. From $115.
  • The Scribe: the everyday one. Clean trifold wrap, no strap, opens with one hand. From $140.
  • The Ranger: the most character. Raw natural edge, leather strap closure, no two identical. From $140.
  • The Curator: the structured one. Internal sleeves for cards and papers, full-length stitching. From $145.
  • The Wren: the most considered. The Curator's structure plus a raw edge front pocket. The one Jess makes for herself. From $150.

Every notebook comes in A6 (105 x 148mm, jacket pocket), A5 (148 x 210mm, fits any bag; the size most people choose) and A4 (210 x 297mm, desk first).

Buying for someone else? The Settler suits the person who likes things simple; The Curator suits the person who carries a working notebook every day. For a complete gift in one box, choose a bundle: notebook, leather Companion and three inserts, embossed with their initials before it ships. Embossing is free on every notebook: up to 5 letters, pressed into the leather by hand at the studio, exactly as you write them.
