Handmade in Lobethal from full-grain Australian leather. The Settler is the simplest cover in the range: a single wrap of leather, four refill elastics, a centre closure. Nothing more. When a paper notebook fills, slide it out and slide a new one in. The leather stays.

Measured open and lying flat, edge to edge. Height by width, in centimetres. Drawn open from the inside: a single wrap of leather with four spine elastics.
Each cover is cut by hand, so allow a few millimetres either way.

The Settler is the one I hand to people who tell me they just want a good notebook. A single wrap of full-grain leather, four elastics, a centre closure -- nothing that doesn't earn its place. Some people move on to the more structured covers later. Plenty never do, and I understand why.
