Create Your Own Leather Journal Workshop
When: Sunday 17 November, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Where: Fabrik, as part of the Handmade Christmas program
Join Jess Boyle of Rustic Wren for an afternoon of leather crafting. In this hands-on workshop, Jess will guide you through creating your own Leather Wrap-Around Traveler’s Journal, complete with custom A5 paper notebooks. You’ll learn simple bookbinding and hand-sewing techniques to make three thin notebooks, which fit snugly in your journal with a secure elastic spine and leather strap.

A leather architect from Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills, Jess founded Rustic Wren to share her passion for creating beautiful, functional leather goods. With over 20 years of experience, she loves inspiring others to explore the art of leather crafting.
What’s Included:
All materials and equipment provided. Suitable for all skill levels (ages 16+). Please wear art-friendly clothing and bring your own snacks. Tea and coffee will be available.
